“We’ve all tackled projects that at times seemed overwhelming at the start. My father worked in construction as a carpenter and he always taught me to first make sure I had all the tools and materials I would need to complete the project I was looking to do. As many times as I heard my father tell me that, I am always unprepared when I tackled a project. Projects always go well when we first do the proper preparations. It’s the same thing with our spiritual life. The Lord first has to do many thing in our hearts before we progress.”
