“You’ve probably heard it said that nothing is ever free. You see ads where retailers offer something free if you buy a certain product. You can bet that retailer has added the cost of that free product somehow in the cost of what we buy. Jesus said He has come to set the captives free. Jesus is talking about freedom from the penalty of sin but our walk with Jesus has many requirements. It cost Jesus His life on the cross for our sins so it will cost us our obedience to His principles found in His word. I think we got the better deal in that!!”
