Investing in God: The Master Investor’s Assurance A Message From New Day Christian Church in NW Las Vegas

Greetings, brothers and sisters in Christ and Children of God,

A man walks into a bank and sits down with an investor to talk about his future. The investor assures the man that his investment is secure and will build a great future for him. The man trusts what the investor says, despite knowing or understanding the investment truly, and without seeing what he is investing in. Years go by, and the man rarely sees the investments or even speaks with the investor. Why? Does he have that much faith and trust in the investor? Would you?

As Christians, we should be like this man, and not only like this man, but we should be investors too. There is a Master Investor whom we should bring all that we have to Him and give it to Him, and He will invest in our future. In fact, He already invested in your future, but He not only invested in your future but wants to teach you how to invest and how to invest in others, so they will invest in their future.

You see, God had a plan from the beginning of creation. It is His creation that He has invested in. He invested time in man, but more importantly, He invested love in man, and from the first creation, He continued to invest, despite the times that man failed in the investment. The Master Investor created an assurance plan that would never fail and secure His investment. That assurance plan was, is, and will always be Jesus Christ (Hebrews 13:8).

God knew that His investment (man) would fail, and therefore He sent His son, Jesus Christ, to earth to recover His investment by dying on the cross and then being resurrected to show all that the investment will forever have a future with Him if they accept this assurance plan (Christ).

As investing Christians, we are to teach others to invest in God and to accept Christ as their assurance plan, and explain to them that the Master Investor loves them and that Christ is the One plan that will secure their future (John 14:6; Acts 4:12).

If you are an uncertain investor or have not considered investing in the Master Investor (God), I encourage you to seek Him, and I promise He will invest everything in you when you choose to invest everything in Him.

Last week, the little lambs learned about the consequences of disobedience with the story of Moses and the water from the rock. Moses, of course, was told by God to speak to the rock, but instead, out of frustration with the Israelites, Moses struck the rock, not just once but twice. For his disobedience, he was not allowed to enter the Promised Land. This week, we will be returning to the New Testament with the story of young Jesus and his time in the temple.

I look forward to seeing all of you tomorrow, but if, for whatever reason, I do not see you, may the Lord bless you with joy, hope, and love, and may He bless you with wisdom for great investments, comfort in the loss, and healing when needed.

God bless you,

Your brother in Christ

Michael (aka Mr. Michael)
