Have you ever looked up at the night sky and seen all the stars? It is difficult in the city to see all the stars, but if you go away from the city lights or look up while on the lake or mountain, you can see endless stars. One of the best places to see stars is at a planetarium, and Las Vegas does have one. It is the Dale Etheridge Planetarium at the CSN.

God’s creation is so vast and truly indescribable. To see it is beyond amazing and beautiful. But also, if you look in a mirror, you can see another beautiful and amazing creation by the hands of the Potter and Creator. He is the Master Artist.

The Lord asks Abram to look up at the stars and count them, if he could even count them all, and tells him that his seed or offspring will be as great as the stars (Gen 15:5). The Almighty determines the number of stars and calls them by name (Ps 147:4). He creates them one by one. He calls them out by name, and not a single one is missing (Isa 40:26).

As you look up at the stars, imagine yourself as that single star in the night sky, surrounded by the vastness of stars, the moon, and the distant sun that gives the moon its light, yet still allows the stars to be seen one by one. No star is more than another, but all are loved equally by the Creator who gave them light to shine in the darkness. That single star, you, is not alone. For His eye is on you, and you are special in His eye; you are the apple of His eye.

However, after seeing the greatness of His creation of the universe, we can become humbled and perhaps feel so small, but we are not forgotten or swept away from His presence. On the contrary, we are like the small sparrow who has found a home, God’s dwelling place (Ps 84:3). For even the sparrow is cared for through love, and so are you.

Whether you feel as vast and radiant as the stars or as small and fragile as a sparrow, your worth remains secure; you belong to Him and are beautifully made. The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth (Is 40:28). He made you with tender care, loves you fully, and desires a relationship with you. So, thank the Lord, for He has been doubly good to you.

Last week, the little lambs discovered the evidence that proves Moses was not a fairy tale in the Bible but was real, and the event of the Exodus took place as the Bible says. From historical records to archaeological finds to New Testament writings, the story of Moses and his leading the Israelites out of Egypt really happened. This week, the detectives will uncover the truth about the Ten Commandments and how God gave them to Moses and the Israelites.

I look forward to worshiping the Creator with you through songs of praise and dancing before Him who gave all creation breath. If, for whatever reason, I do not see you tomorrow, may the Lord bless you with joy, peace, and kindness, and may He lead you, guide you, comfort you, and heal you when you are in need.
